Yeang Cherng is Principal of Kingmaker Consultancy Pte. Ltd. and pioneer of Singapore’s cyber wellness movement. He has developed a national framework for cyber wellness values and best practices, training multiple commercial entities to promote cyber wellness through public education.
In 2006, Yeang Cherng set up Singapore’s first Cyber Wellness Centre, developing and validating treatment protocols for pathological video gamers. His programmes have reached more than 1,000,000 in the last decade, including students, educators, parents and partners.
Yeang Cherng has a Masters of Mass Communication and is a Gallup® Certified Strengths Coach. His StrengthsFinder® talent themes (Achiever | Ideation | Relator | Strategic | Analytical | Learner) distinguish him as a creator of evidence-based interventions for clients’ engagement and well-being. He is passionate about designing transformational learning experiences that impact people and global communities.
