The war on drugs is as old as civilization itself. However, the focus of that battle has changed over time, with the attack being taken to those affected most by the problem.

In the recent past, new drugs have taken the problem out of back alleys in urban communities to become a menace everywhere. These new chemical combinations are immune to income level and political stripe and know no legal or ethical boundary. It kills 91 people every day. It has shattered families and ways of life.
